Announcement: Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Trainings

Attorney General Andy Beshear and First Lady Glenna Bevin share a commitment to preventing child abuse and building stronger families across the Commonwealth. February 9, 2016, a joint press conference was hosted to announce the launch of statewide training initiatives aimed at reducing child sexual abuse in Kentucky.


Attorney General Andy Beshear and First Lady Glenna Bevin are partnering to launch a collaborative statewide training agenda aimed at protecting Kentucky’s children from sexual abuse. Joined by child advocates and lawmakers, the Attorney General and First Lady highlighted training being implemented to assist the community in keeping children safe.
Collaborating partners include: The Office of the Attorney General, Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Prevention Board, the Department of Criminal Justice Training, the Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities, the Kentucky Association of Child Advocacy Centers, and Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky.
