Welcome to the Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky website. We appreciate your interest in our important mission and welcome your involvement in our statewide programs, services and outreach efforts. Whether you are visiting our site because you are searching for statistics or research information, volunteer opportunities, information on the signs and symptoms of child abuse and neglect, community information or would like to be involved with one of our special events, make a donation or just to check in with us to ask us a question or to share information with us…we hope this site meets your needs.

During the last fiscal year, there were 88,292 children reported as being abused or neglected in our Commonwealth. We know you share our belief that each of us, working together, can and must ensure the safety of Kentucky’s children. Not only do we welcome your ideas and suggestions; but also your involvement. Since its inception in 1987, volunteers and concerned citizens have been the foundation of Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky and our services; and with your continued support and interest we know we will continue to provide needed programs to Kentucky’s families and children.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff of Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky, thank you for your interest and please let us know how you would like to make a difference in the life of a child.

Sincerely,

Nina W. Eisner                                                                                     Jill Seyfred, ACSW
