Grape Expectations
GRAPE EXPECTATIONS 2010 RECAP!
Lexington young professionals have joined together for the past four years to help raise funds and awareness for the issue of child abuse and neglect. The Lexington Charity Club, Urban League Young Professionals Association, Lexington Young Professionals Association, UK College of Law-Student Bar Association and the Fayette County Bar Association – Young Lawyers Section rallied together to present the 6th Grape Expectations wine tasting event on Thursday, January 28th at Arts Place to benefit Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky (PCAK). More than 360 participants were in attendance and more than $6,000 was raised to help advance statewide child prevention efforts. This event, coupled with the previous five events, has raised more than $26,000 for the statewide child abuse prevention efforts of PCAK. The united efforts of Central Kentucky young professionals coupled with the model collaborate support of the Lexington business and corporate sponsors: Jonathan & Gretchen Copley, Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, Forcht Bank, Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC, Jill Seyfred, LEX 18, Kentucky Ale, Meridian Chiles, Terri’s Catering and Web Medley has proven to be a winning combination for Kentucky’s kids.
