Pinwheels for Prevention

The pinwheel symbol is being used nationwide to raise awareness about child abuse and neglect prevention.  It was chosen to represent imagery of hope and promise,

depicting that when individuals take part in this campaign they are making the statement they believe every child deserves to be raised in a healthy, safe and nurturing environment. It is our hope this image can positively help impact the way the public views both children, as well as the prevention of child abuse and neglect.

We invite you to take part in the 2010 Pinwheels for Prevention Campaign. The goal of this campaign is to encourage individuals and organizations to join together in raising public awareness of child abuse and its prevention.  In organizing this collaborative event, communities will be brought together to achieve this goal. Pinwheels for Prevention will unify our efforts, reach a wider audience, engage local communities and provide a consistent message to the public.  Your participation could make a world of difference in the life of a child. Pinwheels for Prevention is a trademark of Prevent Child Abuse America. To take part in this campaign, please contact Janna Estep Jordan at 859-225-8879 or jestepjordan@pcaky.org.
