1-800-CHILDREN

1-800-CHILDREN is a statewide helpline that offers a lifeline of support, encouragement and information regarding resources in local communities.  Parents and caregivers can call 1-800-CHILDREN 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and talk with a trained volunteer who can provide them with information, support and/ or referrals in their local communities. We also welcome calls from individuals interested in volunteering (we can direct you to a local agency who is looking for help!) as well as from professionals throughout the state who work with families and children.  We receive more than 205 calls each month on this line.
